Programme Information
The Bachelor of Administrative Science (Honours), acronym BAS (Hons), is a 3 year programme which prepares graduates for employment in the public and private sectors. The programme is a creative and unique blend of the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in these sectors. Strategic management, people management and technology management underpin the programme. With a multidisciplinary focus, administration bias and a global orientation, the programme provides the students with a healthy mix of knowledge base that is a sine qua non for employment in the new millennium. The students can further deepen their knowledge and hone their skills by choosing from a range of elective to match their own preference and career plans.
The programme is offered in the Shah Alam, Sarawak, Sabah, Melaka and Kedah.
Entry Requirements
STPM with a minimum of 3 principals passes including in General Paper. Preference will be given to candidates who have attained the said requirement on one sitting AND credits in English and Mathematics or Economics or Principles of Accounting in SPM / SPMV.
or
A Diploma from UiTM in Public Administration, Business Studies, Accounting and Banking with a CGPA of at least 2.50 or equivalent (exemption mat be granted for the 1st year of the programme).
or
A Diploma from any local public university or from any accredited private colleges in Public Administration, Business Studies, Law, Accounting and Banking with CGPA of 3.00 or better.
